Ecuador

7th to 19th July 2024 (Sold Out)

Join me to photograph the wildlife and wild places of this amazing country in South America. We will be touring the region south of the capital Quito to concentrate on the rainforest and cloud forest environments that give Ecuador such rich biodiversity. We will also be visiting Cotapaxi volcano in the Avenue of Volcanoes. At the start and end of the trip we will explore some of the old parts of Quito itself. Wildlife photography will be the priority, but we will also photograph many spectacular landscape scenes and some cityscapes.

The itinerary below was planned with the help of my friend and our guide for the trip Paulo Valerio, who has been photographing in Ecuador for many years. Paulo is a talented photographer with a gift for spotting wildlife. He also has an excellent knowledge of Ecuador’s wildlife. Our tour includes locations for a huge variety of rainforest birds, frogs, insects, reptiles, flowers, a few mammals and landscapes. I will be your photographic guide during this trip and we will also have a local Ecuadorian guide and driver, so there will be plenty of eyes for spotting wildlife!
