2020 VISION

Guy has been commissioned, along with 19 other top UK nature and landscape photographers, to work on a multi-media project aimed to highlight awareness of Britain’s threatened Ecosystems. The 2020 Vision project is run by The Wild Media Foundation. The purpose of the project is to illustrate the connection between a healthy environment and the well-being of the people who live and work in and around it. Over the next three years the team of photographers, along with videographers and AV professionals, will embark on twenty assignments that will illustrate the value of twenty different ecosystems throughout the British Isles. This material will be used in presentations, exhibitions, TV programmes and a high profile book in order to reach as wide an audience as possible.

GREAT VIEWS

During 2009 Guy was commissioned by The Ramblers Association to take many of the photographs for their latest book Great Views. This led him to travel all over southern England and the whole of Wales photographing views from some of the most picturesque walking routes in the country. From expansive views in Surrey and Kent to the snow covered summits of Snowdonia, the project took about eight months to complete due to particularly changeable and unpredictable weather. This new book should prove useful, not only to walkers but to photographers as well. It is available from the Ramblers Association website by clicking the link below.
